I have been researching on the internet for a reputable breast reduction clinic. How do you know which one would be the best ? Its a major operation so want to make sure I make the right decision. TIA
I am not sure but its worth a chat with GP . I am not asking for it to be done on the NHS but they maybe able to give me some advice. Thanks for suggesting that .
if you are getting back ache etc from them and they are really big more than an F cup or they prevent you from taking exercise try the GP anyway as the NHS may pay for this op if it will improve your health
If not he should have access to a database of surgeons and can write you a referral to take along.
NHS should definitely be the first step. What you describe is to do with your psychological state and advice for counselling and, if needed, surgery will be available free.
I havent spoken to GP about it because I do not suffer from back ache or anything else like that, however I am so unhappy with the size , it doesn't seem quite so bad when I can keep them covered up during ,but come the summer, I am as miserable as sin !
jasmin....nothing to do with your GP.....if you want to see a Specialist privately for whatever reason, then he should give you advice to which is the appropriate surgeon.
took the advice given on here and went to see GP today. He said that due to the fact that my size is totally disproportionate to the rest of me , he is going to put me forward for this to be done on the NHS. I am not sure how long I would have to wait to even see someone but at least my GP thinks I have a good chance of getting it done, I didn't even consider I may be eligible. Thank you for all your advice.
