Yes I made a point of seeing it just to see if it would be as good on TV as it is on radio. In my opinion, as I expected, not as good but worth watching the rest of the series.
I'd never heard of it until that thread on monday. looks proper dull, i didnlt like the one with the 2 old blokes acting over gay and so this is probably not my idea of comedy either, I'll stick to the big bang.

You see DJ - that's just where you and I shall differ
I LOVE the thought of a programme with two old guys acting overly gay.
I think that's why after I loved Vicious so much - after a slow start
I watched every episode of vicious and the script could have been good if the actors had not been such 'actors', everyone except frances de la tour seemed wrong in it. If it has another season then it might improve, but the IT crowd and big bang are still the best comedy shows on tv for me,
"Vicious" and "Count Arthur Strong" seems to have been mixed up here by some posters...they have nothing in common at all.

To address Ricror's question....CAS was quite funny although if you enjoyed the radio series as I did you might not laugh as much. His confused antics seem to suit radio better than TV. Perhaps its the old case the pictures on radio are better !

Still, not a bad way to waste 30 mins. It could be worse...you could be watching the One Show for instance...ARRRRRRRRRRR !
