Has anyone got any tried and tested methods to get rid of cellulite ?

I'm clued up on all the 'eat healthy & excercise' stuff, but does anyone have any new experiences, and has anyone noticed a difference with regular exercise and if so, what sort ?

Has drinking lots of water really made a difference for anyone, and ive heard about hot lemon and water in the morning is meant to be good for cellulite.

Thanks

Sadly cellulite is as genetically determined as the shape of your nose, or the thickness of your hair, so some women will get it and others will have lovely smooth thighs and bums naturally.

Incidently, the word cellulite was introduced in 1973, so we just had fat legs before that date and accepted diet, exercise and possibly massage, were the only effective treatments.

It's a cruel world!

Alas I think cellulite and death will be with us for ever.

Since there's no way of avoiding either of them ultimately, I guess the only thing we can do is to try and eat healthily, exercise regularly and get on with our lives.

As to the hot water and lemon theory, I've started drinking this regularly at various times of the day over the past month and find it quite refreshing. It's also a good way of boosting my water intake which is generally far too low, but I'm not sure it's doing anything for my cellulite. I just avoid looking at my naked body in the mirror too much.!

You can get rid of it - but you can reduce the appearance. Firstly drink lots of water - to flush out the toxins in your system. Also, make sure you buy a 'body brush' and dry brush your body towards your heart - this increases your circulation, and I am afriad to say the best thing is regular exercise, which will tone up your skin and tighten the lumpy areas...I have tried cellulite creams which work a little - but the above methods should reduce it over time...good luck!

Sorry, the first line should read 'you can't get rid of it'...
Having cellulite is not permanent...

However we must to sort through all cellulite myths out there, you first need to know what really causes cellulite in the first place before you can evaluate any proposed cures.

As for drinking water...

Your skin needs good hydration BUT if your skin is losing water internally no amount of drinking will help, what you need is an holistic approch that will incorparate the three main cellulite removal factors:

Diet - That rebuilds your dermal skin tissues.

Exercise - Targeted to remove cellulite, not a standard workout that can make things worse.

Mindset - Yes believe it or not how we feel about our cellulite effects how effective ANY treatment program can be.

Take caffeinated coffee and grind it into dust. Rub the coffee dust into the cellulite-affected area for 60 seconds per day, then shower afterward
You can also use a soft bristled brush to gently press it on the area that is affected from cellulite. Either moves the brush in circular motions from head to toe or just on the affected area.
