Weeding The Garden

I have the house to myself, and promised my partner that I would weed the garden before tomorrow.

I would much rather lie back on the sofa, watching the kind of trash TV that I can only watch whilst alone.

I am reaching out to AB members for a REALLY good excuse why I can't do the weeding.

Because someone on AB told you you can only weed at dusk or dawn or all your plants will die...even your grass.

Or you could just say "It was too hot and I couldn't be arsed and (insert name of trashy tv programme) was on".

However, I do like the 'Round Up' excuse. I could say that I've sprayed weedkiller everywhere, and the actually buy some weedkiller and do it for real tomorrow.

Was just going to go out and do some weeding on my patio but with all those excuses I'm not now. I shall pour a vodka and coke instead and just ignore the weeds - what weeds?
