My house has been up for sale since last september. We are so desperate to move. I cant take much more of our neighbor. She stares and makes comments as we are going in and out of our house. (learn to drive....Salads Chef....Stupid) are just a few examples. Ive had to drag my OH back a few times but somethings going to kick off. I would like to give her a piece of my mind but I need to remain professional because of my job. Any suggestions would be welcome!

so why does she do this, is she jealous?
Reduce the price.
so where does she stare from, does she come out or look out of the window. I don't understand.

we live in a terraced house. She sits by her front window,,,she doesnt work and it seems that we are the whole focus of her life. The fallout was because of her foul mouthed son (we asked her to tell him to quieten down) and things escalated from there. We used to be friends and she has told me about a fling she once had whilst her hubby was on shifts Im so tempted to tell her hubby but afraid things get out of control. Ive just had enough!
Oh dear - the local Neighbourhood Witch....
So reduce the asking price.

we have reduced the price (twice) lol !!
Tell her that if she doesn't pack it in and behave then you will tell her husband about the 'Affair '.
Question Author
I know Ive thought of doing this....but shes very butch (man like)!! Ive even thought of sending an anonymous letter!!
Are you afraid that she may assault you if you tell her that you will tell her husband ?.
does she own her house or is it rented do you know? If it is rented find out who her landlord is and make a complain of nuisance
That'll make it worse, ILB, don't do it :-(
it won;t make it any worse without the police being involved. This woman is being intimidating and hostile and needs to wind her neck in or get some of the same.
Pay for them to go on a 2 week holiday to a chavvy Butlins site, while they're away get as many viewings as you can, no noisy neighbours about, job done!

Probably cheaper than dropping the price.

Oh and once you've moved, drop the hubby an anonymous letter in the post
jealous neighbor - be over friendly to them, smile, wave, blow kisses and always greet first even when ignored. In fact be thick skinned at every insult. You will be happy and not see the insults as you've risen above pettiness.
