Please tell First Direct their sound effect laden banner ad is really hacking me off. If I see one of their representatives in the street I may not be held accountable for what I do.

Next time someone offers you a banner with noises, can you just not?

anyway, just edit your hosts file : c:\windows\system32\drviers\etc\hosts

you'll see a line with : 127.0.0.1 localhost on it. Just add another line with : 127.0.0.1 ads.adviva.net

You'll never hear it again.
