There is either a Circuit fault that needs to be checked ASAP for your own & passenger safety, it could be a number of things, I had a problem with my wifes Pug 206, (2004) turned out to be a faulty steering wheel stawk ( which ever way you want to spell it)

An airbag warning light needs investigating by a garage. It shows when you switch on the ignition to test itself, then it should go out. If it stays on, get it checked as this means the airbag may not inflate in a crash situation.
The light might come on due to the passenger airbag being 'switched off' or in Peugeots and Citroens, there is a bad connection under the drivers seat.
The error code is quite specific if the garage do a 'diagnostic read' on the car...
