sitting writing recipes out before I take the book back to the Library (I love Nigel Slater) and waiting on Onepoll to give me a survey to claim my last 5p so I can claim my £40.

Is anyone doing anything nice or are we all waiting on the bambino?

Looks nice Baldrick, it was meant as a bit of a snub at the way they first regarded her.
Doing nothing today as fed up (no I'm not dt in disguise). Had a letter this morning telling me my ESA will finish on 11th September and as I have appealed, which will take about 12 weeks to find out about, I have no idea what is going to happen. The future is looking very scarey financially.

Used to have friends live there years back, 'tis not a bad area!
;o)
Jan, what reason have they given you ( stopping esa ) ?.
jan, that's ridiculous.
Mr Alba's ESA was stopped a week before his operation, so I phoned for a crisis loan, they reinstated his ESA.
(Don't think crisis loans are around now though :-( )
Apparently it only lasts 1 year Tony and following an ATOS medical assessment they have found me fit to return to work. That is what I have appealed against and will have to wait to find out how the tribunal goes.
Jan, I seem to be hearing and seeing ( news papers ) about this happening to people on a regular basis these days, very wrong imo.
Hope you win your appeal.
And well done ah wench in getting Mr Alba's ESA reinstated.
Just had a thought Jan, would your GP write a letter for you to use in your appeal ?.
Yes, it is happening to a lot of people so well done Alba. I was assessed by a nurse who took about 20 minutes and this was before my last operation in November so things have changed anyway. I think this will probably lead to another assessment but it's just having it hanging over my head for so long and worrying about it. I really do wish I was well enough to go back to work!
Sorry, didn't see your last question Tony. Yes, I do have letters from my GP and my Consultant at the hospital.
Jan, make sure that you use those letters of the doc and the consultant, surely even these ESA assessors won't go against what your doctors say.
I'm sure they will try Tony but thanks anyway.
Good luck, Jan.
