Dermatix Scar Reduction Gel...
3 Answers
I have quite a nasty scar and it really bothers me. It's kind of raised, I think this is usually known as keloid? (that's what my doctor said anyway).
I know you can use stuff like bio oil, but it's a bit more 'advanced' than that.
I know it's a long shot, but has anyone used a product called Dermtix? I've read good things about it, but don't really want to waste money on something that isn't going to make any difference.
If not, does anyone know of any other products out there that I could use?
Thanks.

It's a silicone gel sheet that you can to size and wear against the scar. A 12cm x 6cm sheet from Amazon is £22.25 and it will last for ages as you just wash it daily. I used it on raised keloid scars about 20 years ago and they were gone in a matter of a few weeks. The scars are now barely visible.
