Generalist

This is SO annoying! I love doing the generalist as it brings out all the (best) nerdy side of me. Having finished my exams I had the time to search for the answers and, with one exception, I have done so. This is the exception:
38 ac. "Applications of farming and agricultural principles in industry" I have A*R*S*I*N*E which suggests either "agroscience" or "agriscience". Either fits. But neither seems to fit the definition. I'd be grateful if someone would put me out of my misery.

I see that it WAS the answer and I am grateful to you both. But in my dictionary, the only industry referred to was the agrcultural industry which didn't seem right. But I am still learning this whole crossword business. Though this one is very different from the Times which is where I follow the guidance that is provided. I call it my Master Class. Thanks to all who help so generously. I am hoping to become good enough to be able to enter the competetitions. But that's for the future!
