Options on connecting a device

I have a digital camera cradle connected to my PC via USB. When I put the camera in the cradle my PC (running Win XP) used to ask me what I wanted to do but now it just barrels on doing what it thinks I want to do and uses a different program to the one I want. How can I get my PC to ask me what I want to do each time I attach my camera?

Ok Basically a program as been associate with your digital camera picture extension ie. .bmp or .jpg

what u need to do is go to control panel - folder options click on the third tab which is file types and then delete the associated file extension. but first find what extension your pictures uses.

Once this as been deleted, click on your picture and it should as you which program you would like to use select your desired program.
