Wart, Cancer, Callous Or Varicose Vein?
6 Answers
My dog has this on her left elbow. http:// www.fli ckr.com /photos /386033 29@N07/ sets/72 1576347 8530180 5/
I have shown it to the vet before (about 6mths ago) and I said I’m a little concerned. He asked which side she tends to lie on (it is her left side and this is her left elbow) then he said he thought it was a callous and to keep an eye on it.
Now it seems that the skin has got thinner (it really did seem like tough, almost leathery skin before) but now if you put your finger over it and move it, it’s as if the vein has been emptied and the blood then rushes back in as you take your finger away, rather like a varicose vein.
Your thoughts please friends?
Many thanks in advance

I think as she has had it for over a year if it was anything really bad it would have progressed much more. Has it got more painful or grown bigger?
