Thanks, people. Eddie 51 we have the same interest. It wasn't the super moon it was taken on July 22nd when the moon was 99.3% full. I set the camera (Canon power shot sx 100) on manual with ISO 100, f8, and 1/400" with tripod, using the combination of both optical and digital zoom. I must admit that I was surprised at the clarity. The moon appeared to be lurking over Lake Ontario; it's too bad that I couldn't get some wave action underneath it...Cheers and good night.
