I was dumped by text but I had only been seeing him 2 weeks, so I cant imagine what it must be like for you. My ex didnt even give me a reason just one text and that was it which made it even more frustrating. Delete his number and never speak to him again, what a b*****d!!!

Why are men so spineless???! Is it genetic? I think a lot of people have been dumped by text (male and female, myself included) but after 3 and a half years!! It just beggars belief. The thought of doing that to someone that you've spent so much time with is unimaginable. I couldn't do that to my worst enemy. Has he been in touch since? What a loser.

I have to say that, miserable subject that it is, mightyWBA made me laugh - what a gent! One other comment that I'd like to add - when he comes crawling back on bended knees, DON'T take him back.

I would have denied knowledge of recieving the text and carried on - just for spite really, to see if he would actually do it to your face. Coward isnt the word minxie, you know what they say - you better off without him?!

Wow, I am really overwhelmed by the reponse. And wish I could answer you all individually. The more I think about him. The more angry I become. Have some stuff of his here. Had a couple of glasses of wine lunch time, and rang him. He was then off to his mummies for dinner, so couldnt talk. But I never want to speak to him again. 3 and a half years wasted on him. A really big Thank you to all of you who have replied. It meant a lot. Thanks
