I've been there and I do know how you feel. It turns your whole world on its head and even when you're told it's nearly over... well I don't know about you but it didn't make me feel any better. It took me months to feel safe in my own skin again... even now a year or so later I still get upset.
But you will get through this.... I promise

My Angel will be an angel.
I got to be the Virgin Mary. Around 1971. I didn't want to be, I wanted to be the Angel Gabriel, but Anne Ulyatt got to be the Angel cos she already had the costume. So I was Mary. In a long blue dress. So long that I tripped over it - made an entrance with the baby Jesus and tripped over the dress. Everyone thought it was a comedy, it wasn't supposed to be....
