Recording Music From Youtube

Could some kind person tell me how I can record onto a CD music from YouTube via my computer.

Open a separte tab in the browser and go to this link:

http://www.vidtomp3.com/index.php

Paste the URL of YouTube video you want into it and voila!

I always use YouTube converter or downloader. Cant recall which it is called at the mo. Sure that google can figure it out! You can have the video and convert video to mp3 and then burn it to cd. You can set it to delete video after conversion or not.

I have never had any probs with it

Haven't tried vidtomp3 yet (but will!) but they appear to work the same way. The conversion is done on the host server so it's very quick. Odd really - the youtube-mp3 intro finishes with mention of needing 3-4 minutes to convert. In my experience it's never taken more than about 5 seconds, usually even less!

I used to use YouTube Downloader. It was slow but OK - but I started to have big problems with it refusing to convert protected content; a bit daft when you consider how much of it was infringing copyright by being on YouTube in the first place. I think it was someone on here who recommended the web-based one I now use.

Oh, btw, noticed your mention of copying to CD. It's not necessarily straightforward I'm afraid. While Win Media Player has CD burning as a function it can refuse to give you permission - in fact I've got a folder of songs I wrote and recorded with our guitarist and WMP won't let me have even those!
Not sure if Magix MP3 maker is free (anyone advise?) but it doesn't ask awkward questions ;o)

Download the program called YouTube Song Downloader from ABELSSOFT.COM which will do the job for you.
