I'm currently watching Marple on ITV and it seems very familiar. Is it a repeat? I have only ever watched Marple starring the current Miss Marple incarnation and am really confused - has she made 2 versions but starring a different supporting cast.

i've just found that the first four books to be adapted were - The Body in the Library, The Murder at the Vicarage, 4.50 From Paddington and A Murder is Announced, so it would seem that i couldn't have seen this one (The Moving Finger) before - how jolly odd.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know

There was a version shown in 1985 as well, Its been remade quite a few ti mes it seems.
The older version starred Joan Hickson and not geraldine McEwan
Your right. I prefer the really old black & white ones with Margaret Rutherford given a choice,

Does anyone know where this most recent version was filmed, looks like it may have been somewhere in Cornwall.
