blackcurrent stain on wood table

hi ,my work mate, has got a blackcurrent stain on a wooden table,and is looking for away to remove it.
Any ideas any one!

Fruit juice is just about permanent, and certainly blackcurrant. It may be lifted out by baking soda/water paste, but it might be a case of having the top sanded and re-sealed.

One way to get ink out of wood grain is to use ultra fine steel wool and lemon juice. Rub with the grain and then re-seal the surface with a light oil. It may work with the juice, but as it tends to get into the grain, this may not be the best solution.
