Holiday in march

My boyfriend and I want to go on holiday in march, somehere hot and cheap! not bothered about going out, just want to chill on the beach, any ideas? we are in our early 20's and will be flying from B'ham.

Have you thought of Tunisia, not far, in flying time, and it is fairly warm during the day, eveinings a little chilly. We have stayed in Port El Kantoui during early April and found the weather brilliant. Can recommend two hotels, The Hotel Imperial Maharba and The Marhaba Palace. There is always the Caribbean, Barbados not bad in March, but quite a long flight. Happy Hols.

Cyprus or the Canary Islands are always a good winter destination bet.The weather is fairly consistant all year although mega hot in the summer.

This is getting to be a habit....agreeing with Drisgirl.
Gran Canaria for a fortnight or Lanzarote for a week......absolutely marvellous. Tried Gran Canaria in June once and couldn't cope with the heat.

Have you tried Egypt? There are some good deals to that region at the minute and it's perfectly safe my friend was there just a few weeks ago.

Florida is also quite reasonable around then!

canary islands would be hot now but also check out some all inclusive deals in carribean - can get some cheap ones and makes things so easy when you get there and you can eat and drink to your hearts content without facing a scary bill at the end!!

I've just recently got back from a two week stay in Cuba. We stayed at the Iberostar Daiquiri all inclusive for �600 per person- bargain! I would highly recommend it; it's the perfect place to just relax.

thanks very much to everyone who has posted an answer on here, we went to the travel agents on saturday and it was so expensive! and she was trying to get us to go to Tenereife, which we dont want to do! x
