to your hairdresser I had a cut and colour (hence my last post regarding dry and damaged hair) on Wednesday and although it looked lovely on the day I have noticed today how yellow the blonde looks around my ears and the cut is not that brilliant either, especially for the amount I paid to have it done, but how should I go about telling them I am not happy with it, could I do it over the phone or would it be better to go into the salon.

I'd go to the salon and give them a chance to rectify the problems......
I would phone them up rather than turn up. If you just turn up they may be busy with other customers, so give them a chance to arrange to see you.
Pop into the salon and politely explain the bits you're not happy with. I did that when I first had my current mobile hairdresser. She was only too happy to put things right and has been doing my hair for years now.
I would go in, be brave! I had to do this once when i had highlights put in, I wanted a natural light caramel colour and they looked that in the salon, but in daylight, they were white! I got a complete refund and an offer of a redo once they had grown out.

yes I will probably ring first and ask to go in after the weekend when they are less busy

for anyone that is interested, I gave the hairdressers a call and they have told me to come in and they will put a toner on my hair next week

You'd better make a phone call first
