Anyone know somewhere on-line (UK) where I can buy a home kit, in particular a plaque scraper? I've looked around but can't find what I'm after.

A year or so ago, Tesco did a pack which comprised an angled mirror and a pick/scraper. Not sure if they still do it.

You can still get them in boots, however I advise you don't bother for several reasons.

f your simply trying to remove plaque then a scaler wouldn't be needed. Its more likely that you trying to remove calculus (tartar) which will not shift with a toothbrush. Unfortunately unless your very careful and know what your doing you could cause yourself the following problems: traumatise your gums, strips your gums back/down the tooth (they don't grow back), etch the tooth/toot surface making it easier to accumulate plaque.
