I'm referring to the bread machine bake-at-home type of loaf. I thought I once read a review about a machine that had a collapsible paddle, which collapsed before the loaf started baking, therefore leaving your loaf intact, with no hole in the bottom.
I've googled everything I can think of, and can't find any reference to it. I'm starting to wonder if I imagined it, as I don't even know if such a machine would be possible to manufacture.
Any ABers any ideas please?
PS: I know it's not a big deal to have a hole in the bottom of the loaf, doesn't change the taste, can't really notice it once the bread is sliced etc.
