Note In Newspaper That Prize Has Been Won

How long after seeing ones name as being winner, does it normally take for the prize to arrive? I recall seeing this answered previously but took no ntice, believing lightning wouldn't strike!!

It depends on the paper-sometimes they arrive before publication and some arrive months later

I think some also save them up and do them at monthly/quarterly intervals just to make the admin easier

Must be about five or more years ago that I won the Dictionary and Thesaurus prize for the 'Barebones' crossword in the Mail on Sunday. About three weeks after my name was published as the winner I was writing to the newspaper to ask when I could expect my prize. I think it took about two months to resolve matters because my entry details appeared to have been lost.
