Using one monitor for two computers?

I have two computers that I still use but only have one monitor, mainly due to space constraints on my desk. It is starting to really annoy me that when I have to change computer I end up lying on the floor for 5 minutes blindly groping around to swap the monitor cable between the two.
Does anyone know if there is a product on the market that acts as a splitter for the monitor cable allowing me to keep it plugged into both computers?

You can run 2 monitors from 1 computer, but have never heard of using 1 monitor from 2 computers. Why do you need 2 computers?

I use one for games and one for work.
i would be interested in a answer to this, as I have 2 pc's too. and would like to save space by using only one monitor.
You need a KVM switch (keyboard, video, mouse). A quick Google search will turn up loads, they aren't expensive.
