Decided to give in and get a lad to help do some of the really hard digging on the slope...well a glass of wine and I was rolling down it, spade in hand.
I'll be there on Monday... he said...Are you an early riser?
Oh Lord!... I replied....Not a bit of it.....Late to bed, late to rise.
Okay...he said...I'll leave it til eight thirty then.....

I get most of my best work done before 8am, gness - up no later than 6 most days. Going to bed at 2 am isn't good for you, 2 a.m. is the time of night when our bodies are at their lowest ebb according to natural rhythms.

Hi Boxy....You sound like MrG! I really am a night owl....I love the quiet hours.
These days I can garden til nine or ten....supper, then work on my quilt or some other craft project while listening to the radio. Sleep comes between three and four, about six hours of good sleep, and for me it works very well.....unless the postie wakes me up. ☺
