Ok Ewood, et al.
A man is dead. By his side there's a walking stick, and a pile of wood shavings.
Why (NOT how) is he dead? You may ask yes or no questions :)
But please, if anyone knows this one already, please let's not spoil it for anyone who wants to play :)
And apologies for hijacking Ab for playing games with, but I'm at home today, and bored, and it IS a question ;)

Can anybody tell me the meaning of this?

As for the stick, one holds on to good staff till the very end.

Oops, sorry for the tumbleweediness. My boyf turned up unexpectedly, and when that happens... Let's say there are some things I'd rather do than be on Answerbank ;o)
