I have a nice brown Turkey fig tree in a pot. I get about six figs a year and very nice they are too. BUT I have never seen any flowers on my fig tree, just suddenly tiny figs appear. So...do figs flower and if so when and what do the flowers look like? and if figs don't flower, where do the tiny figs come from??

Morning all
That looks like a lovely vintage eiderdown IAP.
Hard to get these days.I like the colour. It is nice to know I am not the only Ebay addict !! I have bought some nice things for my collection of blue and white china from Ebay and also a huge amount of vintage knitting paraphenalia...patterns and books. Don't tell any one about my addiction will you !!

Dull and dreary here again.Hope you are well.
Hurry back Smudge!
Hope you enjoyed your bath Gessoo and hope the rain has stopped for you Neti.
Have a good day everyone .

Hi Biddies,

Hope to see you soon Smudge xxxxx

IAP, I love the eiderdown!!!! So much more homely and comfy compared to all the fake suede bedding there is about at the moment (ugh!).

I too am an ebay addict!

Shaney, I have loads of old knitting and crochet patterns, some inherited from my Grandmother. I even have ones with Roger Moore on them before he found fame! My favourite one is one for a crochet dress my nan made me in the sixties and is modelled by Twiggy.

I would look really lovely in a crocheted dress these days!!!! ha ha. Don't think there is a shop anywhere that would have enough wool :o)

Just had an SOS from Neti:

The buckets could cope with her leak!

Neti

jno. I couldn't get the picture of the bath. Tried retyping the link, but it didn't work. :o(

What are you doing in here folks? shouldn't we be at gessoo's new place?

that's strange gessoo - it still works fine for me... never mind, it was just a little piece of artwork (not my own or anything) showing William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy sharing a tub, as you do... I wonder why a link works on one screen and not another? Perhaps we'll get better reception once we've moved to your orangerie... I suppose we should be getting on, we're well over the 500 posts the health and safety people recommend, we'll be looking like one of those overcrowded buses that plunge into ravines
Well I am still hanging around waiting to go.As you can see" all my bags are packed..I'm ready to go..."

zzzzzz

we are here

goodbye figgybank, we're off again.
Have just visited Biddygrotto by mistake, now I got the wrong bus again - where ever next????? totters off to next bus stop.......................................
