Hi jacklee, missed your post yesterday I didn't log on. My husband is retired but he is a life long bowler (crown green bowling here in Yorkshire), he also tried indoor during the winter, and got into the game but he found they were long games and he got bored with it. There are small clubs that play short mat bowling and have a good social side there may be one in your area.
