Ipad And Ch4 On Demand

I've tried to access Chanel 4 on demand on my Apple iPad but I keep getting the onscreen message.
Adobe flash player is not supported on this device.
Why?
I can watch BBC iplayer with no problems.

iPads don't use Adobe Flash. iPlayer runs on Adobe Air.
Download the 4OD app from the iTunes store to play programmes from 4 on demand on your iPad

I can't find the 4OD app in the iTunes or Apple stores. Idid download something called Photon flash player but that don't work either.
