Laptop Shuts Down I Have Tried All Sorts

Hi I have a Compaq cq60 212ea laptop and I have all sudden got it where it just shuts down..mostly when playing a you tube video or anything were it has to work at it..i think it heating up as the ram seems to be getting very hot yet I did test and seems to be running around 60 degree celcius..so seems odd I have cleaned the fan out and that's now completely dust free.i have replaced ram and hard drive just in case...what ese could it be..the fan runs constanly as it is set up to do so..after it shuts down few times like this it even starts to do it after just few mins of been on so could it be the heatsink I have tried to reseat it but still doing it.so whould u say it requires new one or is there anything else I can try..really am at a loss as seemed to be fine before this started few days ago

That happened to me and the battery had gone. Take out the battery and use the plug, see if it works like that, if so you need a new battery.

the battery seems to hold its charge though so cant see how can be the battery, but will try it all the same and see
Could be a power supply issue. Could be a number of things. I think I'd let the local PC service centre have a look at it.

it also does it if just running from the battery and no mains in it..will try without battery, tomoz going to try new heatsink to fan, failing that hange the motherboard as have a spare and failing that ill throw it in the bin lol....
A few things you could try:

You say you have changed the RAM. Have you actually checked the RAM modules by using Memtest86?
If there was a problem with the original RAM sticks this could have affected Windows and merely changing Ram sticks may not do any good.
Have you saved everything and uninstalled and reinstalled Windows?
It's probably also worth running Adwcleaner and Malwarebytes just to ensure you've no nasties lurking.
The final (?) thing that occurs to me is are you sure that all the important Windows updates are downloaded and installed?
