9a Rho (Greek 'P') - in 'peteRHOuse'

But P is pi in Greek.... Rho is actually 'r' although it's written as a p ??

That link is fine... but the answer is still wrong as far as I can tell.. 'P' is not rho, it's phi, although rho, which is written as 'p' is pronounced as an 'r'.
I can only go with what the dictionaries tell me, my Classical education is non-existent :-)
Rho is represented by a capital P

Peterhouse starts with a capital P and also contains Rho

You're correct that rho corresponds to R, but it is represented by a P, so the clue is OK. From Chambers:
