When is it going to be used in the English Premier League?

The promises earlier this year were that it would be introduced at the start of the next season, which I took to be the 2013-2014 season that is about to start, but I can't find anything online to confirm that and with only a couple of weeks to go the lack of information suggests that it's not going to happen soon.

A few days on and now the media has become interested in the use of goal-line technology this season.

It's just been on MOTD2 for the first real decision of the new season (don't have Sky to have watched it live) and it seemed to work ok.
