Digital clock

I always thought that these were most accurate, yet the clock in my phone looses three minutes over a period of about 8 weeks regularly. (motorola V60). I last set it at christmas, to the absolute second, with a radio contolled clock and today by that same clock the phone has lost it's usual 3 minutes! Can the phone clock be regulated in any way?
