I am really sorry for bringing a negative comment here but I would be extremely grateful if you can ban/withdraw this thread and its members for incitiment of religious hatred as a real banter is going on right now in th thread called "Muslin extremists" in the News section of AB. I have read some real offending comments and don't feel its appropriate for people to read considering the fact we have some muslim members on this site.

Reading through said post - not being religious myself, I still found it offensive, well maybe not so much offensive but I was rather ticked off at some of the things that were said. I suppose I found it annoyed me because I am a little naive with people, I keep forgetting the small mindedness thats still present in society today. I agree with Drusilla, I have left this site before because of similar things. I came beack in the hope that it has changed, lets see. =D

Discussion about religious topics - especially those mixed up with dirty politics are bound to get passionate and some may overstep the mark with what they say.

The thread has been stripped of the more obscene and irrelevant posts, but you may still report the posts if you feel they are inciteful.

My dear Alfie, the more I think about it the more it makes sense. If you are "deeply offended" by this "real banter" I wrote then you clearly must have been offended by the recent cartoons of mohammed. That is one of the reasons for the islamaphobia of recent weeks afterall. The reason being, if a small reference to mr mohammed as gay on a section of website, perhaps read by 200 people, as opposed to world news showing mohammed as a suicide bomber you must have been beside yourself.

Surely a gay man who has no enemies in a free world is very small fry to a terrorist bomber killing dozens of people.

I have summised from the little information you have posted a few things.

1) You may be a terrorist

2) You may be a muslim

3) You may be gay

4) You are lying.

The fourth summise is based on a feeling you are trying to "police" this site when really you don't really give a monkeys.

I don't know if I have made sense, because I really am not as eloquent as yourself nor such a wuss as to write what I really do not think nor believe to be true.
