... feet.

Discussing it on ITV's This Morning at the mo.

Are we feeling exercised about this?

Or is it the latest political hobby horse?

Flippies would surely just be two lefts? And floppies two rights?

That's just a hazard that goes with the territory, woof.
I have driven bare, but you tend to stick to the seats a lot if you've got leather.
It's not a political hobby horse jayne.

It's simply highlighting a matter of which people may not be aware. As you say, large numbers of people are wearing flip-flops at the moment (ghastly things IMO, totally naff and appropriate only for use around a swimming pool, but no matter). It's also true that many people are driving in them. As with a number of things (using a mobile phone, fiddling with a radio, drinking to excess, eating their breakfast, doing their makeup, slurping coffee) lots of drivers do not consider the dangers posed to others by their inappropriate behaviour when driving. This is just a reminder.

But pretty much all I have worn for about two months, except when I've been

... running, or

... at the gym, or

... in a meeting, or

... mountain biking
Another home naturist then......?
Did that include the trip to ponky London?
Question Author
I don't go to London in flippies, because I only go there if I have people to meet.

Besides, you'd get some moron standing on your feet.
I can comfortably drive in my birkies but not Havianas (sp?), I definitely can't drive barefoot!
Question Author
I don't have any Havis, because they all seem to have the moulded T bar, rather than a soft fabric one like, say, O'Neills.
Question Author
I can't remember what Birkies are like.
Birkenstocks; worn by Germans and proud yogurt weavers!
Question Author
Yes, yes, I know what Birkenstocks are, lol.

I meant, I can't remember if Birkenstock flippy style shoes have a hard T, or a soft fabric one. I have a feeling it's hard.
Wot, they sound like Jesus creepers.
It's a hard T but I don't find them uncomfortable. I've never tried soft T's, a new experience to look forward to and perhaps a chance to shrug off my yogurt weaver image ;-)
Question Author
Eccles, they come with a piece of soft, folded fabric, which is much easier on the toes.
