Transfer Phone Numbers

What is the easiest way to transfer my phone numbers from one phone to the other? My new phone won't accept my old SIM card at all. The old phone only has infrared and the new one has bluetooth. Please answer this question as it looks like I have to transfer over 300 numbers by hand (or thumb!)
