parked the car at work this morning as i'm walking in found £10 on the floor thought that's handy! do my work go back to car and find that the starter motor has had it great!! just managed to get to my local mechanic, gonna cost me just short of £200, the start of a great week NOT!!!

Depending on the car I'd expect a starter motor to be around the £100 mark maybe half an hour fitting (again very much depending on the car)
I'm not sure I'd want to go with a scrapyard starter myself unless I knew it came from quite a new car - don't want to do the job twice

poxy motors!! as you can see had a new starter motor fitted now its doing the same thing as it was before not turning over and making a clicking sound as luck would have it rac van was 2 doors down fixing their car and rac man said straight away its your battery mate its flat so its on charge fingers crossed it starts later! probably no need for new starter motor me thinks doh!!!
