how is she going to get the photos off her phone and onto the frame?
Question Author
on her phone she has camera and video - and so I believe you take out (ie open the phone up and take out like a little memory card and stick it into side of photo frame.
The main thing is that quality varies drastically and price is no guide - some pricey ones are pretty poor. Jessops seem to be the best (Which? report opinion).

thanks Anne - thought it unreasonable what happened.
Are all the photos on the card? Some could be on the phone itself. If she takes the card out and puts it in the photo frame is she going to buy another card for the phone so she can take more photos. I'd be asking myself these questions as if I had one I would leave the card in the frame and not keep transfering between the two.
It will make a lovely thoughtful present.
Most frames (in my experience) use an SD card .... usually bigger than a phone memory card (physically bigger I mean) So better to download photos to PC and then transfer onto the right size card for the frame ...... which is simple enough. A 2Gb card will hold about 115 normal type standard photos (10mpx) and if you are buying her the card to go with the frame, consider buying her two (two packs on ebay of these memory cards are only a pound or two more than buying singularly) ... reason being she can then have a set of photos on one card which are landscape and another set in portrait (ie t'other way round!!) as frames need to be set to tun either one way or the other. I have bought several frames as gifts over the years and have always bought from Tesco and never been disappointed! Reasonably priced too.
