Webcake Ads

this is now really annoying , i've run WSE and it has supposedly removed webcake, yet webcake ads is still highlighting certain words on various web sites, like on here and in ancestry and when you click on a highlighted word it open a little webcake box with the little ad in a small box, malwarebytes says there are no threats, what else is this webcake doing to not be removed? I am using Windows vista home premium with firefox 23.0.1, please can anyone give me a clue about what to do next? thanks.

This happened on my laptop too. It was so annoying. I left it into a computer repair centre and it cost me £30 to get it cleaned.

Sorry if I'm asking the obvious but have you restarted your PC since removing webcake?
Sometimes you need to restart so that WSE can get rid of a file that is still running.
