You asked me if there was any baby news yet, so I thought best to open another thread.
I flew back to 3 weeks ago, without even being asked at the gate for a fit-to-fly certificate - goes to show how the health tourists get away with it! I was away for 1 day less than three months in the end.
I'll be 36 weeks on Weds, and frankly a bit "over" this pregnancy lark. I've only just worked out how to turn over in bed without beaching myself in my back for 5 mins. Everything aches and my hands and feet are swollen. But I have had such an easy pregnancy I can't really complain.
The next thing though is that hubby is being called to Dubai this week to start his new job. He will come back for the birth so we plan to get him on a flight back here a few days before due date, all the while hoping I don't go into labour early. We'll be gutted if he misses it. Legs cossed from now on!

We've done a hypnobirthing course and its all about breathing, relaxation and positive visualisations. I do hope it won't all go out the window when the time comes as, apart from £250 down the drain, the videos I've seen make it look like quite a different experience to the One Born Every Minutes screechathons.
Yes, ummm, its my first. I'm 39 so considered high risk (although I have been very healthy throughout) but I am desperately hoping they'll let me have a water birth, which apparently is not usual for high risk. Got my heart set on it though. I'm seeing a consultant this week and will beg if I have to!
