We are going on safari end of june then Southern Palms Hotel beginning of July. I have heard it will be cold on safari..is this true? Will it be warm enough to lie by the pool?

I was there in August and it can be chilly at night but hot during day... not sure about early July but doubt it'll be much different. Don't lie by the river though....
