Windows Administrator Password

I need to install Norton upgrade on my dad's laptop and we can't remember the administration password for three original main user. This was not a problem previously esd there was only the main user account on there ..... but after a virus problem earlier this year I created a second user for him .... now how can I find tter password or how can I reset it please ?

This may help Himotory - but is it only asking for the adminstration password because we are logged in using a secondary ID? Would it let me upgrade Norton without this password if I log back in using the main account holder ie the original user/administrator? Last year, with only one user set up I am sure it just did it........ any other suggestions please?

I think toureman may be suggesting that this question should have been placed in technology section. Don't worry about it.

'Re install the windows' is the simplest way to recover the password problem.
