They were only available as a grey import for quite a while, but from about 2001 Mitsubishi started to import them officially, but at the price they wanted to charge, (about 23K), there was a lot of more interesting tackle about. Secon hand they make a lot of sense though. The V6 is smooth and responsive, with a very slick gearchange, front wheel drive only of course, but apparantly the chassis is up to the job. The ride is very hard for pock marked UK roads, and they are very dull inside. Personally I would avoid the automatic version. I think if it was money, I would go for a Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo first, as they are more stylish and better to look at, IMO. I would think that the Mitsubbishi would be more reliable than the Fiat, but also harder to sell on later.
hi,i was going to get tht car too,3 years ago..but i didnt. If you really want to get one,get the mivec engine one...like you said import cars hard to sell..i had a honda prelude before and i sold it for cheap...but if you buy new import car, they are ok to sell..now i got new integra type R..anyway i think fto nice car..before you buy it check the front seats..there must be logo which is showing which year your car is..dont believe what the notebook says..my prelude was 1994 on the book when i want to try to sell it they find out it was 1991 from the seats..so be careful, good luck....GOKHAN
