If You Could Live In Another Decade,...

Did anyone watch last night? I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought that our music industry is looking good for the next year or two, a lot of excellent bands on show. I thought that the live acts were good, KT Tunstall and Kanye West stealing the show, but I also enjoyed Paul Wellers set, especially since 'town called malice' was the first single I bought. Any opinions.

I'm particularly pleased for KT Tunstall who has spit in the eye of the record company execs who told her she wouldn't get a deal because she is over twenty-five. Someone had better tell Ray Davies, The Stones, BB King, and yes indeed Paul Weller, that it's time for them to start tilling the allotment!
I though the show was excellent.I would not call myself a fan of either Prince or Kanye West (I loved the ladies in gold), but thought both of their live sets stole the show. Also good to see Paul Weller get the recognition he deserves.Personally, I would liked to have seen Antony & The Johnsons or Hard Fi, pick up an award, but there's always next year.
Its a shame they could not persuade Kate Bush to put in a live performance.
