.... just a wee message before I go to bed. Ricky got a visit from the team manager today and he squeezed his hand and opened his eyes. He is also out of High Dependency and is hopefully going to be moved to a hospital closer to his home and family. Such a big improvement, all your thoughts and prayers I think are slowly being answered.
Thank you so much I'm not sure if I want to laugh or cry I'm so happy :)
That is quite a good idea - mum mentioned a sky dive too. I was thinking about doing a Sponsored walk from where I live to Dunbar - I'm not sure yet but will see what happens :)
Hey! That's great news :) He'll be fine, all those positive vibes have helped :)
If you'd continued to add to your original thread, way back when, it would have made a great blog for everyone to follow and more importantly for you to print off to show Ricky when he is A1, which i'm sure he will be soon.
I thought about it kylesmum but I worried people may not have followed it.
I think it's his F/T job a lot of the riders but I would imagine that he like many others do have other jobs outside the sport as they will have to do something between the winter months and the new season.
I know that an event has been held or is being held for him. But I will look into it as I always want to help those that mean a lot to me
