Applying for 1st UK passport

I am wanting to apply for my first passport, however I have a few slight problems which may possibly prevent me. Those problems being -


I have no photo I.D
I don't have my orginial birth cert (my D.O.B) is also wrong by 1 day which may be another problem

Please can someone advise.....

passport photos easily got at supermarket booths. Stick with birth cert birthday......HRH has two birthdays ;)

do you have a National Insurance number?

if you're an adult and this is your first UK passport, you will need a face-to-face interview.

Yes I do have a N.I number (which say's my birthdate is 1 day prior to actual !!)

What kind of things are asked in the interview?

no idea, I think they allow half an hour and just need to be convinced you are who you say you are!
