Yellow Fever Injection

My husband who is 68 and I 65 are visiting Kenya in November - do we need the YF Injection. We are going to Nairobi, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara Game Parks. We have been told that over 60 the injection could be dangerous. Please help.
