So sorry, I posted this on the Animal & Nature forum by mistake..hence double posting.
After an "incident" where an 81 year old friend was attacked recently, the police became involved.
Its what I expect is the usual interview all parties scenario to start with. There is other stuff I am not happy to reveal here at this time, after all it is the WWW. There are security cameras, so it should all be on the memory card when the police look at it.
Apparently, the person who did the attacking, has now started going everywhere, to the dustbin, getting water from a communal water butt and hanging out washing while carrying a shoulder bag. All very odd.
I was told about this earlier and suddenly wondered was the person carrying a camera or voice recorder in the bag.
I know nothing about this sort of thing but wondered if the clever people on this site know if its possible.
"was the person carrying a camera or voice recorder in the bag!"
I should have said the person started doing this strange [to me] act today.
The person has yet to be interviewed, but an interview is arranged shortly.
I don't expect comments on the incident as its now a police matter. I am merely asking about the possibility of a secret personal camera or recorder. I can't reveal more at this time. Thank you for reading.
You can get personal cameras as pens, cigarette lighters etc. you can also get nanny cams fitted into picture frames and clocks. Good to see if the help are nicking the brandy or abusing granny in the home.
he/she must be using the old fashioned equipment if they need a shoulder bag
take a look at some of these to give you an idea of the size of things these days
Actually you can gossip about a police matter
it is only when charges are laid - it becomes impossible (= against the law) to discuss it.
If the question is: can a fellow conceal a camera in the bag and video everyone - well yes.
And has he ? I dont know I am not psychic.
IN terms of the security vidso if the police have not claimed it (seized I think is the term) then the old fella himself could think of applying for it himself under the data protection act (it would be his data)
