Escape To The Country
I've been watching some repeats of Escape to the Country and I notice that all the houses that are shown to the would-be buyers never have any For Sale signs outside them. Is this programme a fantasy or just a platform for people to show what a marvellous job they have done in doing up their property?

Exactly, Shoota. 'Escape to the Country' is made for the BBC, which is always very careful to exclude the name of any commercial company. If you watch Eastenders, for example, you'll see that whenever someone swigs from a can of lager (or from a bottle of water) they'll always pick it up so that the brand name is facing away from the camera.
