Have been thinking a bit about this recently and thinking of the phenomenal recent success of authors like EL James (50 Shades), JK Rowling (Harry Potter) and Stephenie Meyer (Twilight), it does make me wonder sometimes :)

Don't forget the joys of catapulting, gness !.

Or you could write one about skips, gness.
Barging for Girls..

...in which an elegantly clad, impeccably shod woman -

-it'll never sell, will it?
You've got a customer here hippy chick. I know all about those Biba gals.
Jeff Bridges/Liam Neeson - for it is he - stood agape on the fore deck, muttering "that's a hell of a chippin' hammer action on that gal"

I can't see Mills and Boon going for it though
C'mon hippy chick, I want to hear more. Can't get enough chippin hammer action !.
Doesn't my little Princess look angelic (my new avatar), alas she has a problem with his teeth - she likes embedding them in the arms of human beings. She is also stupid - verified by the vet.
Dogs, bees, frogs and birds.

Pet spider???? :O
Yes Eve, it lives in her jeans !.
At risk of being vaguely serious guess you need the skill to make people laugh, cry or wet their pants with sheer terror. Preferably all three at once.

Or a damn good romance.... (I'm such a girl haha!).
Not withstanding the flippant answers, I would write a book about my Grandfather. After WW1 he walked every day from Wakefield to a pit in Glasshoughton, about 9 miles I think. He then did a 12 hour shift and walked home again. Kids today can't even walk to school!
sex novels, some written and income earning (not enough to be a Rowling but to pay for part of the monthly wine bill) - some planned along with true fiction, without too much of the sex angle, - then there is some potential faction and a serious book on caring for someone with Alzheimers; the latter is in diary and sketch form at the moment, the actual writing won't take too long (3 months perhaps).

I also write a lot for clients concerning technology and retail positioning, and marketing blah-de-blah, as some here have seen behind scenes.
"Conversing with the Space Cadets and Not Rights- Memoirs of a Coop Checkout Gal"

That'd me mine.

I'd read that Boo :)

Wow, amazing to think of people doing that nowaways Jeza.

DT, sounds like you're well on the way. It's something I've thought about a lot but I've never got to the point of seriously sitting down and writing anything!
"The Truth About Diana"

Bound to sell in millions to her gullible adoring fan base.
Question Author
I'm wondering how the film will do that is coming out about her.

I thought a lot of the lady but it's not something I want to go and see, just seems a bit wrong it still seeming so soon after she died and with her sons. Maybe it's just me but I feel it's more for maybe US audiences.
